Book Week Parade
Thursday was probably the biggest and most exciting day, being our Book Week Parade! Unfortunately, a nasty bug prevented me from being in attendance and rocking the costume that I had prepared! It was still wonderful to see the students looking so excited in their costumes and parading them proudly around the basketball court. The theme this year was ‘Reading is magic’ which lead to lots of students dressing up as their favourite magical book characters. There seemed to be lots of wizards and fairies based upon the photos, with staff also getting into the spirit of the occasion! Many thanks to families for the enormous effort that went into creating these costumes, as magical as reading can be, I know full well that these costumes don’t just magically happen!
