Alimentos School lunch orders at Garfield Primary School

Alimentos is a catering business that currently provides lunch orders to 9 schools in the area.

Garfield lunch order day is on each MONDAY.
 

About the food:

• All food is cooked and prepared on site at St Ita’s
• All homemade items are preservative, additive and nut free.
• All homemade recipes are low salt and only low fat dairy products are used
• Australian made products are used whenever possible
• Biodegradable (from Biopak) packaging is mostly used
• There are GF options available each day and will try to cater for any other special dietary requirements, so all the children can enjoy a lunch order
• There are some processed foods currently available, but these are limited.
• Foods are colour coded in line with the traffic light system as per the school canteen guidelines.
   

Delivering to schools:

When orders are ready for delivery to schools, they are transported in insulated bags, one for hot food and one for cold food. At each school we have a set of baskets for each classroom which we fill with the orders at a designated area. Once packed, school captions or class leaders will collect the baskets and take to each classroom for the teachers to hand out.

I introduced Flexischools around 3 years ago as it is a fast, convenient and secure way to order and pay for lunch orders online. Flexischools makes our lunch orders available for you to order 24/7. Flexischools is Australia’s leading school payment system, to provide a new cashless way for you to pay for school lunch orders and other school events.

How to Set up your account

• Download the flexischool app or go to www.flexischools.com
• Select school, add student and select classroom
• Top up your account either direct deposit, credit card or PayPal
  
  

Cut off times to order 
Please note the cut-off time for ordering lunches is now 8.00am on the morning of lunch orders. Late orders will now also be cut-off at 9.00am

Refunds

• If you have placed an order and you need to cancel it, just log onto your account, click on the cancel button and your account will be credited.
• If the cancel button is not “live”, this means the order has already been downloaded to your school and you will need to phone or message me on 0409 437 341 to request the order be cancelled to receive a refund.
