Athletics canival a huge success
We had another hugely successful sporting carnival today. Thankfully the weather cleared up for us! Our students again demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship throughout the day and tried their very best! There were some very impressive individual achievements which all culminated in points for houses and a VERY close contest! In fact, it have been any closer with just ONE point separating the 2 houses and our Gold House winning the trophy 463 points to 462. Congratulations to the Gold House and congratulations to all students who participated and tried so hard!
A huge thank you goes out as always to Mrs Desiatov for her incredible effort in organising the day. We are so incredibly grateful for the effort that she puts into what is such a wonderful event for our entire community. Many thanks too, to all the parent helpers that enabled the day to go ahead. With such a small staff, we can’t run these events without the support of amazing parents and we are also incredibly grateful for their willingness to help out.
Days like this really support us in achieving our mission though ensuring close community connection, with students engaged and motivated, and as a Principal, I feel an enormous sense of pride.
