Parades

At Garfield Primary School, we love to mark a special occasion with a parade and get our community involved. These include:

Easter bonnet parade

On the last Friday before Easter, we love to get into the spirit, get creative and parade our Easter bonnets around the basketball court. This parade is particularly exciting because the 4-year old group from the Garfield Kindergarten come and join in the fun!

Book Week

Book Week is always a special time. We love books and what better excuse to dress up as our favourite book characters. We also welcome the students from Garfield Kindergarten along to this special event.

Footy celebration day

We are a very sporty community in Garfield and we love our footy! The last day of Term Three is always our footy celebration day where we dress in our favourite teams colours and parade them proudly around the basketball court. This is a particularly special day as we also invite our Grandparents in to join in the fun!
